Cool Miami "IS" the Worst Place to Drive!!!!

Ok, I'm a very rare breed... I am a native of Miami, meaning I was born and raised here.
This year Miami was ranked #1 most rude drivers IN THE NATION for the second straight year! And you know what, it's freaking true!
Just last night I saw some punk in an accord dog and cut off and slam his breaks over and over on an old man who mistakenly cut into his lane. If I hadn't been with my family I probably would have tried to help the guy out.
My job is basically to be on the road alot so I see this day in and day out. People down here don't know how to use there breaks... If there is someone stopping or making a turn, instead of breaking or what ever. They look to cut into the other lane, normally cutting someone off or even running them out of there lane or worse, off the road.
To make matters worse the entire freakin city is under construction... There is almost no where you can go in Miami that there isn't some kind of construction going on.
Then of course you have all the immigrants, which my family was at one time. My parents are cuban, so i'm not being prejudice. But they bring there driving habits from there 3rd world countries and expect they can drive like that over here... Pisses me off!!!!!
Again I apologize for the ranting!

I thought Daytona was bad because of all the old farts, but it's cake compared to the rest of those places...

Grew up down there, and it is definitely what they say. That article was no surprise to me....one reason why I don't live there anymore. Problem is, most of Florida is just as bad.

Phoenix is number 6 on the list for rudest Drivers (Hello people, turn signals, and rearview mirrors are standard equipment!!!!!!), but the city and 2 of its suburbs are 1-3 for running traffic lights.

Here in Southern Oregon it is red light runners! Makes me so disgusted...tons of accidents...the last few days I have been keeping a tally at every redlight I hit...19 redlights 18 red light runners!! Only once did someone not be in the intersection when I had the green!

If you see a bad driver pull up next to them and say," Hey Nice car (pause for a lil) did it come with turn signals?"

Born and raised in Miami also and the people here can't drive worth a crap. I just wish they would at least drive the speed limit or faster. Get off the phone......

Re: Miami "IS" the Worst Place to Drive!!!!

I'd say it's Latin driver's ed in play (Move, I'm here now). I've done business in Guadalajara Mexico, and the drivers are far better there than in Miami. Good luck. Are the new road signs in Spanish or English?
