Best A/F Mixture Target for NA Custom Tune?
Hello Gang, looking to lean on some good advice.
QUESTION: What is the most ideal A/F Ratio I should target for on a custom Tune for my N/A Mach 1? Lots of opinions hoping to get some good advise / experience. SETUP: '03 with 5speed (Steel Crank), no power adders, Flat Top Manely's with Manley H beam rods, Intake and Heads Polished, PHP Intake spacer, Accufab Twin 60 TB, Comp Cam 106100s straight up no cam advance. Factory Fuel and Coil packs, JLT Intake. Let me know your thoughts everyone, this forum is irreplaceable for such an incredible wealth of knowledge out there .. thanks in advance. Jeff |

When I was N/A I aimed for 12.5-13.0.

A google search resulted in a 14.7:1 ideal 'Stoichiometric' ratio.

Did you put in WOT AFR? 14.7 is ideal for all the other times.

14.7 is ideal at idle. I like 13.0-13.3 on an mostly stock NA car. If its a built motor, high rpm deal I'll go 12.7-13.0.

Re: Best A/F Mixture Target for NA Custom Tune?
Guys all good information I think I've got a good idea of the ballpark to run the Dyno target to. I've also read leaner at idle then targeting just under 13.
To all thanks as always still the best place to turn to .. Jeff |

For me 12.2 - 12.6 NA at WOT worked best.
