Exclamation Need 2 upper control arm bolts: PLEASE HELP

Well long story short I have gotten myself into quite a mess. I need 2 stock upper control arm bolts. Mine are somewhere in Maryland right now.

I would just pick up some grade 8 ss bolts at the hardware store. I'm getting ready to replace my diff bushings and I plan to replace all of mine.

I have some stockers I can sent you but yea some grade 8 1/2" bolts would be a quicker option. Im pretty sure the uppers are 3.5 but dont quote me. Grab some 3" 3.5" and 4" then return the ones you don't use. I believe the lowers are 4" and uppers are 3.5.

I only see the zinc coated at the hard ware store. Dont think i have ever seen grade 8 ss

i forgot to mention also stainless bolts 18-8 arent equal to grade 8 steel bolts the 8 refers to the amount of nickel in the bolt the other type of stainless bolt is 316.

FYI guys 1/2" bolts do not work on the uppers. Thanks for the help to everyone that did but sadly and with great regret, today at roughly 12:30pm est I ordered a bag of 4 from Ford for $36. FML

Re: Need 2 upper control arm bolts: PLEASE HELP

1/2" bolts are too big for the stock stuff. That is what I took off, TeamZ arms. I tried to use The grade 8 bolts with those arms and too big. From what I found out at the hardware store the correct size is 12mm but even they had a very slight wobble which could cause damage over time. So I'm not 100% sure what the stock bolts are.
