New bumper paint match
Hey everyone, so I got a bumper painted for the Mach this week and when I put it on it’s pretty close but just a bit light and I can’t get over it. Wondering if I should bother going back to the shop or what other options I have.
Side note: entire car is ceramic coated with like 4-5 layers of wax new bumper is fresh with nothing on it and I’m trying to figure out if ceramic coating it and a few layers of wax will make the difference Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Fully coated or even waxed paint will look deeper for sure. If it’s pretty close, but just on the lighter side, that could make a difference. How long do you think you’ll need to wait before you can get the front bumper treated with wax and or coated?

I’m not sure but I ended up calling the body shop yesterday and they’re going to just repaint it for me to get it right. In the day time it’s much more noticeable and I just couldn’t live with it Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

That’s good to hear they are wanting to get it right! Look forward to seeing the end result.

Bumper came back and they got it right this time. I left the whole car with them for a few days. They said they had to take some white out from the mix to get the color right. I’ll get some better pics later
