Iat sensor?

Hi!

Have been told to extend the IAT sensor with the supplied wires and splices for my 04 Mach 1 install.

Problem is I can't seem to find it at all!?

Re: Iat sensor?

Honestly you should just look into going slot style and relocating the maf, no need to extend then

Re: Iat sensor?

The procharger kit came with a plug And play extension maf unit.

But then gave me extra wires and splices to extends the IAT sensor?

Are the one and the same thing on a 04 Mach?

Re: Iat sensor?

Sorry, read that too quickly yesterday. I thought the IAT is in the maf already on ours

Re: Iat sensor?

yeah that's what I am thinking - however Procharger told me it should be there?

Was it there on the 03 models then?

Re: Iat sensor?

It's been a loooong time but I don't recall a separate iat sensor. Typically they install in the intake tube post maf if they are separate

Re: Iat sensor?

If your stock MAF plug has 4 wires, you have an external IAT sensor. If it has 6, it has the internal sensor. I don't remember how the Procharger comes set up, but you want it in a blow through configuration. So you shouldn't need to extend anything as DSG said.
