Re: Quote of the Day

QOTD: "A mistake is just another way of doing something"

Sure there are right ways of accomplishing something, but imagine what would happen in no one ever made mistakes. Some of the greatest accomplishments that we see in today's world are a result of someone making a mistake that turns out to be a breakthrough for something bigger.

Re: Quote of the Day

If it ain't broke, don't fix it.

I think this is especially true of certain products that have stood the test of time, and then a new chief engineer comes in and has to put his stamp on it and completely screws it up. Don't make change for the sake of change.

Re: Quote of the Day

The witticism of Foghorn Leghorn...

This boy’s making more noise than a couple of skeletons throwing a fit on a tin roof.

That boy’s just like a tattoo, gets under your skin.

That boy’s about as sharp as a bowling ball.

That boy’s got a mouth like a cannon, always shootin’ it off.

This boy’s as fidgety as a bubble dancer with a slow leak.

This boy’s more mixed up than a feather in a whirlwind.

That boy’s muscles are as soggy as a used teabag.

This boy’s got a mind like a steel trap, full of mice.

Pay attention boy, I’m cuttin’ but you ain’t bleedin’.

Pay attention to me boy, two half nothings is a whole nothing.

If that kid don’t stop talking so much his tongue is gonna get a sunburn.

Nice boy, but he’s got more nerve than a bum tooth.

She reminds me a little of Paul Revere’s ride, a little light in the belfry.

Nice girl, but about as sharp as a sack of wet mice.

She reminds me of the highway between Fort Worth and Dallas, no curves.

That woman’s as cold as a nudist on an iceberg.

That dog’s busier than a centipede at a toe counting contest.

That dog’s as subtle as a hand grenade in a barrel of oatmeal.

That dog’s just like taxes, he just don’t know when to stop.

That dog’s lower than a snake full of buckshot.

You look like two miles of bad road.

You’re more mixed up than a feather in a whirlwind.

This is gonna cause more confusion than a mouse at a burlesque show.

Re: Quote of the Day

Horsepower can be measured by how fast you hit the wall.
Torque however can be measured by how far you move that wall.
