New owner from Indiana

Hello!

Just recently purchased a 2003 Azure Blue with 70k miles in great shape. I've had a few new edges in the past including an 02 2V GT. Then I went on to a boat then a C5 and then a C6 Corvette.

We're expecting our second and decided I needed to free up some cash so I sold the C6 and began my search for a Mach.... I've always loved them since they came out back in late '02 when I had my 2V. I was originally looking for a OW Mach had to be Manuel teams car.... boy are these hard to find in good shape without an outrageous price! I ended up finding this Azure Blue in Moline Illinois on craigslist. Was an excellent transaction and brought it back home to Indiana at the end of October... car was mostly stock with just flowmaster exhaust and some billet interior items. Was about a 5 1/2 hour drive home

Got her home and the next day had it up on jack stands and started a single stage paint correction, removal of the mud flaps and plastidipped the machines fuel door black..... the car spent about 3 weeks up on stands starting the day after I got it home!

Meanwhile I went ahead and got to ordering a set of black saleens 18x9/10 staggered and Conti Extreme contact DW tires in a 275 front and 295 rear, also ordered a replacement hood stripe, SR lowering springs, and eiboch camber bolts.

I plastidipped the rear lower valance while I had it up in the air also. And swapped all the interior billet pieces back to stock switches and knobs.

And here's how it looked after getting the immediate stuff done:

Unfortunately I only got to drive it a couple of days then tucked it away covered in the garage due to our Indiana winters until spring.

I did get the shift knob painted since storage

Today I ordered a MGW shifter and a set of hood struts.... looking forward to spring!!!!

Does anyone know why it won't embed my pictures after using the [img][/img]?

I thought maybe it would only let me post a limited number of pics but even when I just post one it still won't embed. Am I missing a forum rule?

many sub-forums here don't support embedded images. General Discussions will.
