Replacement stripe for the hood - 2003-04 Mach 1 Registry Owners Club

I had my hood repainted but I did not have them put a stripe on the hood

Since I really dont like the brazillian look on the mach so i want to put a new stripe on.

I found the part from ford they wanted over 200 bucks for the replacement
graffix express has one for 80 bucks

has any one used these are the factory ones worth the extra money
if they are ill spend the money but ........

I have not purchased a hood replacement stripe but can tell you that Graphic Exspress sells a good product. I have never had a problem or quality issues with any of my purcahses. Hope this helps.

I painted mine on. IMHO looks better painted

I put the GE one on---could not tell a difference from OEM factory.

Ours has a GE hood stripe since I had to have the hood, bumper and tops of the fenders painted. Looks as good as the original to me.

Thanks looks like i go with the G.E. option

I did have the stripe painted on they used a single stage matt black
enamel it did hold ok but it was starting to get chips in it.

so i had the hood repainted solid red again....... so i can just change the stripe out if it gets bad again. ...... in 9 years

A week or two i ordered the G.e . The package it comes in has a ford lic and made by 3m. The box it came in and packing good stuff. The bad side is it looked like they sat on it during lunch.
