2003 Mach fresh air vent
Just wondering if anyone has noticed that when temp control selector is in vent mode with temp set to cold / not A/C ....ambient outside air approx 60 degrees / winter time....air still coming out warm ?

Depends of the situation, if the dash has been heat soaked by the sun or you have been stuck in terrible traffic which again heat soaks everything then it will come out pretty warm.

Because we have a restrictor valve and not a complete shut off of water flow, once the engine gets hot and you aren't going 65mph you will get luke warm air flow. I believe Ford did this to promote circulation through the core to help out all the heater cores that rusted out on the Fox bodies.
