Just wanted to say howdie to everyone. I can't believe how many great people there are on this thread and how much info there is here. I just purchased a 2003 Azure Blue Mach 1 and I love it. I owned a '69 Blue Mach 1 with a 390 and would love to have it back but $$$$$$$$. I have owned 5 mustangs in my life and this is #6. I love this car and can now see why Mach 1 owners think they are so great. BTW, I traded in a '02 Corvette for it and I got the better end of that deal. Look forward to conversing with all of you and thanks for the advice that I have received so far.

I too owned a 69 mach 1, alcopulco blue with a small block 351 (no shaker). I have friends in nashville maybe next summer I'll take a ride down

Welcome to the herd Phil. I had a red 70 428CJ Mach1 but that was so long ago. Wish I had it back, it would be worth a fortune.
