Procharger, how complete is this kit?
Hey guys so I finally got bit by the boost bug, I've been looking into procharger setups lately, I found what I believe to be a good deal on a p1sc kit on craigslist, tell me what you guys think. I'm sure Ill need different brackets and what not for my motor, different injectors, etc, how complete is this kit though and what else do I need?

That doesn't look the correct bracket. I'm pretty sure the V6 uses a different bracket. They have it listed as fitting 99-04. The 99 has a different timing cover. I'd look for another kit.

Re: Procharger, how complete is this kit?
Am i best off paying extra and hunting for a mach 1 kit or would buying a kit like this and adapting it with whatever additional parts are needed be a better bet?

Re: Procharger, how complete is this kit?
IMO yes you'd be better off finding a complete kit. Trying to piece things like the correct pipes, the correct bracket, clamps, etc can add up. The next biggest thing is the coolant crossover. IIRC Procharger wants $$$ for it. I think some guys have made the crossover delete set ups work as well.
Also, a kit for an 01 Cobra will fit too. It used the same timing cover as the Mach.

Re: Procharger, how complete is this kit?
i wouldnt buy that kit
1) wrong bracket 2) no crossover (as mentioned procharger is extremely proud of their stuff) 3) its setup as draw through, you want blow through 4) that intercooler is a smaller one

Thanks guys, I'm going to take your advice and save up a little more and search around here and svtperformance when the time comes. You guys think low boost will be safe for a daily on a stock bottom end?

Keep the tune in check and you should be ok for awhile. I'd still start saving your pennies for a new shortblock down the road.
