Consignment Experiences?

Has anyone ever sold a vehicle by consignment? If so, could you share that experience and any details like typical fees, process and good or bad experiences.

Re: Consignment Experiences?

I had an 04 Mach 1 CO with an Auto and 12,500 miles.

Due to a Divorce, my Wife got the Mustang. I put it up at Wheels & Deals in the Bay Area for $16,800. It sold in 4 days for $15,500 and I had 2 others that were interested in it.

Fees vary, I went for the full package, up front parking, hand walk keys to car, test ride with employees, the hole 9 yards ($500 total).

My experience was great.

Hope this helps,

Michael

This is great information. How long ago was your sale? How much did you have in modifications? Trying to get a gauge on market value of my similar car, with more mods.
