Anyone have any exciting stuff going on for Thanksgiving?
Just going over to the family to eat with the rest of the family.
Hope everyone has a safe and wonderful Thanksgiving.

Thanks, I remember the times I was deployed during Thanksgiving and Christmas, so I remember those that are away from their loved ones and pray that God will give them some peace while they are away.

I really dislike with a passion driving into Houston, to the down town area to go to the VA. Just not fun at all

Unfortunately I'm getting a vasectomy that week so I guess a lot of laying on the recliner icing myself while playing ps4.

The usual for us. Gathering of friends and family. Fry up two big birds. And eat way too much.

I did that a few years ago. I only needed the ice for one day. And I slept through most of it.

Re: what is your Thanksgiving plans

Smoking a turkey and having some of my fiance's family come over to share it with us. My ex is taking my youngest to see our oldest in Colorado Springs. But my middle daughter just moved back to DFW from Houston so I will get to see her at Thanksgiving.

Other than that, I am going to be watching some football while enjoying a good cigar and scotch.

Ouch. Frozen peas?

I'll be having lunch at my grandmother's and then might swing by my dad's place and see him and my uncle. Leftovers for days hopefully!

Re: what is your Thanksgiving plans

Plans are still undecided. We were invited to my wife's sisters house for Thanksgiving. However, my son has their last football game of the season this Saturday. If they win, they clinch the conference and the automatic playoff bid (FCS division) that goes with the conference title. That means a game the Saturday after Thanksgiving and also means he will have to stay at school during Thanksgiving break. So, we may end up heading out of town on Thanksgiving day to go to wherever his game is. Potential destinations right now are James Madison in Harrisonburg, VA or maybe Eastern Kentucky University. Hopefully not Montana as that is likely too far for us.

Re: what is your Thanksgiving plans

Guess I'll have the traditional Thanksgiving dinner at my cousin's house then we'll settle down and watch the Carolina Panthers destroy the Dallas Cowboys! That should be plenty of turkey for me!

I'll have my ONE piece of pumpkin pie for the year.

I'll stay home on Black Friday. Bah. Humbug.

I've apparently had to deal with legal & compliance people at work for far too long.

He let a lot of doe walk the last four days waiting on the 10 point. The other little buck turned out to be a bonus.

That's a good looking 8 point on the field camera.
