My wife and I probably won't make it next year. Not sure. After trying for 6 years we finally are having a baby. I'll be 37 and she will be 38. Better late than never. Baby should be here toward the end of February.

Thanks everyone. Its still surreal after giving up. LOL she was with me. We were figuring it was a Charlotte NASCAR Coke 600 conception but I guess could be a Carlisle baby too. Only a couple weeks apart. Her due date is Feb 26th.

Well, I sure hope my son and I can make it this coming June. I'm having my second full knee replacement on Jan 12. Should be healed enough to make the trip if the PTs don't kill me!! Not looking forward to it but I have no choice. Hope to see everyone in 2015.

Re: All-Ford Nationals at Carlisle 2015 ---->

Im thinking about going for the first time this year. Might be taking the Mach as well kinda depends on last minute forecast. Can anyone tell me what that general area is like maybe names of towns around the area are, for lodging purposes. I saw the host hotel, talked it over with my buddy thats going with me and kind of looking for somewhere a little cheaper around the 100-120 a night range. Realistically just need a clean room with beds and toilets lol, im sure we will wont be spending much time there. Also for those that go every year can you give me break down of how it works, do you leave your cars at the show or take them back to the hotel everynight? Do the Machs all park together and do i have to register a certain way to make sure im parked with everyone from the registry? Well sorry about all the questions and no matter where we stay im looking foward to meeting everying.

Hopefully KURT will chime in as he stays at another hotel and has yearly Realistically just need a clean room with beds and toilets lol, im sure we will wont be spending much time there. Friday night BBQ is at the host hotel, and it is a great time. Only have to stumble to the room as a few wobly pops are had. Also for those that go every year can you give me break down of how it works, do you leave your cars at the show or take them back to the hotel everynight? We drive them back, but THINK some Carlisle Participants have left cars at the show. Do the Machs all park together - YES they do (search for Carlisle pictures on this site, shows all our Machs in a line, really nice sight.) and do i have to register a certain way to make sure im parked with everyone from the registry? When you register for the show pass, make sure you include The Mach 1 Registry as your club Well sorry about all the questions and no matter where we stay im looking foward to meeting everying. Only bad question is the one not asked
If you stay at the host hotel or not; you should have a great time. I always do. This year I am leaning on being part of the M1R Shelby Division.

Looking forward to meeting you!

In reference to the hotel situation. I stay at the Roadway Inn in Dillsburg. At around $90 a night. Basic motel but reasonable. It's not far from the M1R hotel and it's a great drive,10 mi. to Carlisle Show grounds. We tend to sit outside, drink beer eat pizza and just have a chill time at a reasonable cost......save the $ for Mach Mods!!!

Carlisle is a BLAST and the mach1's are very well represented!

Any suggestions for a place to eat Thursday evening?
If we do T.J. Rockwells we will need to contact them soon because we almost didn't get in last year.

T.J Rockwells was a good place. We should probably put a Reservation in now for 20 as you suggested & we can adjust the Number as we get more responses as to who will be going there.
