Detroit Dyno Day! April 26 FME@Pauls Mach 1's Invited
Come out and see what your Mach 1 can do!
FME ( Ford Motorsport Enthusiasts http://www.teamfme.com ) has reserved April 26th at Paul's High Performance for the annual FME Day at the Dyno. Each person will get one run which equals three pulls for their time slot. Each run takes roughly 1/2 hour and some quick and minor changes may be made between pulls. This facility uses an in ground Dyno-Jet chassis dynamometer which is rated up to 1200 horsepower and 200mph. Always wondered how many horsepower your hot rod or race car really puts out? Ever wanted to find those few ponies that have been eluding you? These events are great fun and very popular within FME. We have nick-named the Dyno-jet "The Humbler". Cost: $85 for members and $95 for non-members. Where: Paul's High Performance 3715 Commerce Jackson, Mi 49203 When: Saturday, April 26th 7am-5pm Send check or money order to: FME P.O. Box 1331 Dearborn, Mi 48120 Directions: From Dearborn take I-94 West to US 127 south(exit 142). More Info...
This is a really nice event for you guys in Michigan. Last year FME ran 24 cars through on Dyno Day, but there is a limit to the number of slots available. We've got to get everything firmed up, so you need to book your slot NOW!
You'll be assigned a time slot for your car, so you don't have to hang out all day if you don't want to. FME and Paul's run a very organized event and there is very little downtime between pulls. As soon as a car is off the roller another one pulls in. Paul had two employees doing the strap down of the cars and setting up the Dyno-Jet. Paul does the pulls and his wife Rhonda will give you all of the printouts from your car. PHP is a first class facility and you'll have a great day. It's worth the short road trip out to Jackson to participate. You won't be sorry you attended. Here's a few shots of my car and my brother's '82 GT at PHP's and the FME "Brag Board" of last year's results. http://www.geocities.com/motrv8r/dynopics1.html http://www.geocities.com/motrv8r/dynopics2.html http://www.geocities.com/motrv8r/dynopics3.html http://www.geocities.com/motrv8r/ken_4.html http://www.geocities.com/motrv8r/ken_5.html http://www.geocities.com/motrv8r/ken_6a.html Please contact Jeff Boulton at jboulto1@visteon.com or 313-755-0281 for sign up. |

Hey, come out and make a pull! You'll beat on your car harder trying to get a video back to Blockbuster on time than you will making a run on Paul's dyno. ttt...

I guess that just doesn't work for some people. The true message just zips right over their heads. |

Hello Walt,
Yes, I posted messages in 4 of the 17 available forums in an attempt to let the members of Mach1Registry.com know about a nice event sponsored by F.M.E. There have to be more Mach 1's on the streets of the Detroit/Southeast Michigan area than anywhere and they might like the opportunity to attend. Check out this thread: http://www.mach1registry.org/forums/...&threadid=2701 If there was a problem with my posting of information the very capable moderators of this forum (O3mach1 and BULLITT680) would have contacted me, locked the post, or deleted it. No such action has been taken in the 18 days since my first post. Have a nice Easter weekend. Thanks again for the posting space Mach1Registry.com!
