Painting bumpers

I'm about to have my front and rear bumpers repainted. They have started turning pink on me. Anybody else ever have this done. Just hoping that it's going to match the rest of my paint which still looks pretty good

Re: Painting bumpers

Had to do my rear bumper recently, went ahead and did the side scoops too since they were fading. Mine are black tho!

I desperately need a respray of the front end because of rock chips and scratches, although I've been thinking of getting the whole car redone.

Mine were repainted by the previous owner not terribly long ago. My color is a tad off, but not super noticeable. My biggest fear is that it won't match and look like horrible, but I really would like to get my front bumper repainted and have the license plate indention filled and smoothed out.

Re: Painting bumpers

No comment, I painted my bumpers a different color
Usually red isn't to bad a color to blend in.

It also looked like my pillars and sails were repainted around the same time (because they match). Anybody else have trouble with their pillars and sails?

Re: Painting bumpers

man.. my car has never even been wet before.. Hearing about all this color fade sucks!

but yeah.. unless your painted is relly good at tinting.. or you get a good scan done.. you will want to blend fir perfect color matching..

Re: Painting bumpers

Well got the car back from paint. Had the front and rear bumpers painted and new oem chin spoiler installed. No more pink for me. Blended pretty good. When the motor and procharger are done I will paint the whole car.
