My block is .030 over, but since a valve dropped into a cylinder it may have to be resleeved.....

So can't it be cleaned up at .040"? No need for a teksid if you're staying n/a.

My new motor is .30 over, you guys are making me nervous now. I have Manley pistons 9.5 to 1 if you want the part numbers I will get them for you.

See post #10. If the best Modular motor builder in the world says it's fine, that's good enough for me.

.030 over is nothing at all to be worried about.

I'm not, will it handle 650RWHP and 20#'s of boost with a Procharger?

A .030" over bore will handle 20lbs of boost without any problems.

Re: Anyone run a bored .030 block

Ya I didnt see any problem shoving 25 lbs of boost from a whipple 2.3 down my block being bored .030 over.....The boost will probly turn out less than that tho because I think Im gonna keep stock compression. That way I can run less boost for the same power and I wont have to spin the whipple so hard.

You want to keep your stock 10:0-1 compression and run a twin screw? Are you prepared to run race gas all the time? And you have it backwards, higher compression means more boost. If your running a blower meant for 8:5-1 compression and you in turn run 10:0-1 compression your boost will be very high.

Re: Anyone run a bored .030 block

What compression are you running? I guess your not running the stock 10:0-1 compression are you?
