Ok here is my stuff all cosmetic but all stuff I wanted. My girl was berry berry good to me this year. Oh and the last picture is a present my dog gave to me. I come out of the bathroom and he is on my bed gnawing on my brand new Mach hat. Nice hole right.

Re: Official 2007 "What I got for my mach for Christmas" thread

Well, I ordered a set of hubcentric wheel spacers and a new MRT white shift knob for my Mach. Too bad that the very day that both items shipped, a young lady in a Honda didn't step on the brakes when I did. I guess they will be installed after the repairs, looks like my Mach will be getting a new rear bumper cover, paint, time on a frame machine, a new cat-back, and a detail job, courtesy of her insurance company.

Re: Official 2007 "What I got for my mach for Christmas" thread

Dang, man, sorry to hear about that. I have been tapped gently from behind twice in the mach, luckily no damage either time. But I have had my truck since 1999 and have never had that happen. I kinda wish it would so I could get my tailgate repainted free where it is peeling, lol.

Hope you get 'er back soon and good as new!

Re: Official 2007 "What I got for my mach for Christmas" thread

So far I only have 2 car related gifts, a car cover for my pretty little mach, and a set of heavy duty floor mats for my DD. I got some antique pottery, which I collect and I looked up their book value: 800 bucks! They are the prize in my collection now, but still, I look at 'em and think of all that mod money! haha!

I have a bunch of gifts still wrapped, to:me, from: me. i think I'll be getting some Stang stuff when I finally open them.

Re: Official 2007 "What I got for my mach for Christmas" thread

What did I get......Hmmmmmmmmmm.............Lets see, a shitty meal at the dfac, I could have had a better meal eating an MRE, sand in my shoes, cold *** weather, internet not working too well. Oh ya mean what did I get for the Mach.........LOL

Purchased by me for me, an 03 bumper, thanks jdlm, a CHE axle brace w/diff cover tie in, a CHE strut tower brace, a MMR rear seat delete, a cobra 31 spline diff, thanks Jeff and 31 spline strange axles with 3in studs.

Ummmmmmmmmmmm I think that about covers it, no wait again. For the HD, I got a tank bra, fitted saddlebag liners, chrome radio trim and a billet brake lever, of course gotta get the matching florboards, passenger floorboards and grips still.

I believe that's all, yep and I'm spent

I have thought about that, since whatever bumper cover I get is going to have to be painted, it wouldn't be that much work to paint a Cobra cover. I have examined the damage closer, and the only paint work needed will be the bumper cover, there is not a scratch anywhere else. What I'm thinking is to take it to a friend who runs a frame shop to have the unibody tweaked back out, and do the rest of the work myself, leaving more money for modding. I have to see what the insurance will do, the impact was hard enough to strip the recliner mechanism on my seat (I only weigh about 165 lbs.) so there could be more damage than I've seen so far (more mod money?).

I doubt you damaged the unibody, same thing happened to me before as well, just sitting there and some idiot rear ended me, it broke my seat as well, the majority of the damage came from the bumper being pushed into outer trunk area, it was fixed perfectly. One question, did it activate the fuel cut off in the trunk??????

Re: Official 2007 "What I got for my mach for Christmas" thread

My mach got an aluminum driveshaft, some mm full length subframes, and steeda 2 point brace. Still may get the che brace. Depends on how much install/weld on the subframes run me.

Didn't activate the fuel cutoff, which surprised me since the quarters are bucked out now. Pinched the corners in at the edge of the decklid under the wing, and upwards to close up the gap with the sail panels (the gap was even before). I'm not sure which way it will go now, I only want it to be a perfect repair if it is fixed.
