MGP Mach1 Caliper covers...?
I know a lot of people don't like these but my wife asked for a set of these for her Mach1 for her birthday so I just wanted to check and see about how these fit? I keep reading that they do not fit without wheel spacers in the front and some people have issues with the rear calipers too.
Again, just asking about fitment on 2003 -2004 mach 1...thanks

Re: MGP Mach1 Caliper covers...?
I dont know for sure but I wouldnt be surprised if they dont clear the stock wheels, look how little clearance is there between spoke and caliper already.
I understand the whole happy wife happy life bit so I wont comment any further lol

Re: MGP Mach1 Caliper covers...?
I have a friend bought a set and they didn't fit well. I assume same brand.
It seems better to paint the caliper instead to me. I think my friend had similar clearance issue's on front calipers. Have to ask him...

Re: MGP Mach1 Caliper covers...?
painting them is certainly a hell of a lot cheaper! Mine held up pretty well using the duplicolor pain kit and a foam brush to apply. Just make sure you clean the hell out of em with brake cleaner etc...

Re: MGP Mach1 Caliper covers...?
Just tell her how they insulate the caliper, trap heat inside the brakes, and can increase stopping distance so she'll avoid them. Problem solved!(I also second painting the calipers instead, she can pick any color you can find then.)
