Opinions on Eaton set-up

My friend is going turbo on his 03 Cobra, so he is gonna use my timing cover, intake, etc. so im getting his set-up for extremely cheap, and getting every part from his eaton and just wanted to get opinions on the set up and if anything should be changed around.

The motor is a fully forged 290 stroker (iron block), stock heads, Ported Eaton, Cobra injectors, SVT Focus pump, Cobra MAF (Maybe use my stock one?), 2.76 pulley, steeda tensioner, aftermarket H/E (will it fit?).

We will swap over all the little things aswell like the tanks, hoses, crossover tubes, cables, etc. but other than that does it look like anything might stop me or am i in need of upgrading a certain part. I know the pump isnt gonna get me where i want (low 500's without spray) but you think with a BAP it will make it to 500?

Re: Opinions on Eaton set-up

i think a eaton sway is a bad azz and smart move for f/i. i say go for it,
whats cheap, tell price please, if you want
but i think its a clean deal and you will be happy with a eaton

Re: Opinions on Eaton set-up

do the MAFia and a focus fuel pump
upgrade to atleast a 39lb injectors, see if he will work that in
also you need to get it on the dyno and get a tune with it

Re: Opinions on Eaton set-up

full swap with everything for $1000. i planned on selling all my nitrous stuff, intake, intake spacer and that should come out to $500-600 so thats more than half of the cost right there. Im Gonna do the eaton swap myself and install his turbo set up aswell.

And yes, im getting his injectors cause he has to upgrade for the turbo set-up. And i should be able to get his MAF with a MAFia already on it cause i wasnt sure if i could use my stock MAF, plus i think he has to switch to an upgraded MAF like a vmp slot maf or something anyway.

But pretty much everything on his car is going straight on to mine, But of course im gonna need afew Gaskets from Ford. The only thing im worried about is wiring, like the IAT sensor, altenator pigtail, etc. Wiring is my least favorite thing to mess with.

The wiring is simple. Just go through the Eaton swap thread on here. Alternator, IAT2, and one other plug is pretty much all there is for wiring. Make sure you use solder and not just a quick connect type deal.

Perfect time to send the blower to be ported in between unbolting and bolting it back on. Then you can make it well into the 500 club.
