Grabber Blue Stripes?

Does anyone have a picture of what this would look like? Just ordered black fr500's and I think it could look great in combo with grabber blue striping. I saw a picture somewhere of the new gt500 in black with the grabber blue stripes. It looked fantastic. Just wondering how it would look on my black mach. Anyone know where you could even get grabber blue striping for the mach?

Re: Grabber Blue Stripes?

Most likely would need it painted on as I don't think the color would come out well on a vinyl. But I'd say the best option is to have someone photo shop or use paint to see how it would look on your car. It may look decent if the side markers were done as well, but in my opinion it wouldn't look right if it was just the hood stripe itself, and at that in a vinyl

Re: Grabber Blue Stripes?

I wouldn't just do the hood. I agree that would look very off. I might throw the idea of getting the stripes painted on if I ever decide to get the front bumper / hood repainted. Not enough rock chips yet though haha

Ya thats what I was thinking. How much do you think it would cost to have something like that done?

Re: Grabber Blue Stripes?

Aren't the stripes on the Shelby vinyl? I'm sure vinyl could be done no problem.

Re: Grabber Blue Stripes?

They could just sand the clear on your hood and roof, tape it off for the stripe, spray the grabber blue, then clear over the whole thing. If you don't buy stupid expensive paint, I bet you could get it done for $500.

Re: Grabber Blue Stripes?

Went ahead and attached some pics of the GT500 I mentioned earlier at the top of this thread. Looks sick, so I'm sure it would look sick on my mach. Funny thing is, my father ordered a grabber blue 2013 with black stripes a few weeks back. If I went this route we would have reverse paint combinations.

All a matter of money and priorities. Suspension and exhaust first

Re: Grabber Blue Stripes?

I vote azure blue strips honestly. I like grabber blue, but its just too Easter egg-ish/kinda a chick color in some light situations. Azure blue seems to have less variations in different lighting. Plus the whole azure blue being exclusive to mach 1's I think carries some weight.

Yeah it does look good, but I think something a little darker like sonic blue would look even better against the black.
