2004 SY Mach 1, Built Motor & D1SC, CCW's

SOLD!!!

Looking to get out of the Mach 1 and change things up a bit. This is the third Mach I have owned and has by far been my favorite, it's time to let someone else enjoy it! I purchased the car two years ago with 33k miles on it with the built motor and D1SC, then upgraded to an F1A and a passenger side cam bolt sheared in half. So, the motor was pulled and had everything checked out (this was at 39,500 miles). The motor was taken back to the original builder (Tyson's Automotive Machine), who said the bottom end still looked brand new, but when the cam bolt sheared it threw the timing and bent about half the valves. They were all replaced with stainless valves, new bronze valve guides, ARP cam bolts and ARP hardware throughout. I sold the F1A and went back to a D1SC to tame it back. Now, onto the mod list! I may forget a few things, please feel free to ask me any questions about the car. I also want to put this out there, ABSOLUTELY NO TRADES!

$20,000 OBO I do not need to sell, so I'm not in a rush or any type of position where I need to get rid of it quickly. After seeing other for sale threads I am also not going to part out, so please do not ask. I would take $18k for the car if you wanted to supply your own rims and I keep the CCW's (I will save them for my next purchase). The pics are a little old, but the only thing that has changed since is the valve covers are no longer blue (now black like previously mentioned). The pictures do not prove true justice to the car, anyone who has seen it in person will vouch for just how immaculate it is. If there are any other questions or something I missed please let me know, thanks for looking!

Serious parties can text me at (304) 582-4577 and I will send you pics of the interior or anything specific you would like.

Beautiful car man. Not a bad price either considering what is done and how clean the car is.

Thanks guys! Really appreciate the comments and not having anyone bashing on the price, I figured it would have already happened by now!

They are extremely nice! If a serious buyer did not want them for some reason, I'm going to hang onto them myself for my next purchase.

Lots of cleaning and just use tire foam on the black pieces, it works great!

I do belong there! I don't have many posts since I've mainly stuck to Mustang forums. I'm actually going to be putting it up for sale soon as well, how many posts are required there for a for sale ad? I have the same username there as I do on here.

10 post if I remember correctly, how come you're selling your new bike? I've seen about 5 so far this year for sale, one of them is even a 2012, which means something did not go as planned on that one.

My screen name over there is Triple Threat.

Re: 2004 SY Mach 1, Built Motor & D1SC, CCW's

What boost PSI did you see with the 3.55 vs the 4.00 pulleys on the procharger and the IW 10% od crank pulley?

The 3.55 by itself would see 16-18 psi by itself before, then the 3.55 with IW was at 24 psi, and the 4.00 with IW was at 18 psi.

Sorry I'm just getting back to you, but the car had a sale pending before your inquiry. The car actually sold two days ago.

Re: 2004 SY Mach 1, Built Motor & D1SC, CCW's

No problem. I am going thru pulley changes and as I'm sure you know the boost varies a lot between engines with similar setups. I have a 8 rib and purchased a IW 10% OD this winter with a Thumper tensioner and I'm trying to decide what pulley to run on my D1 procharger. I'm looking for 14-16 lbs. I was around 15-16 with the stock crank pulley and a 3.4 D1 pulley but I had some belt slip. I guess I'll try the 4.00 and see what it makes. Do you remember the cruise we had at Harpers Ferry several years ago?

I would try the 4.00 or go with a 4.15, but like you said it varies between cars. Your setup sounds very similar to my old car, you should have no slip with that combo! I definitely remember the Harpers Ferry cruise, we should all meet up again soon! I should be picking my new mustang up in the next week or two.
