Flex Seal Fixes What have you used this stuff on?

Just curious if anyone else has used the flex seal product to seal items.
What items have you used flex seal on and had success?
What items have you used it on and it didn't work.

I have used the black spray on flex seal to seal some rust holes in a roof of a vehicle that had a black vinyl top. The flex seal actually looks like the vinyl roof and sealed the holes. Not sure what it mean in the long term for rusting more??

Re: Flex Seal Fixes What have you used this stuff on?

My house has an odd external sort-of closet. It is where the breaker panel is and originally was not accessible from the inside of the house. The previous owner opened it up to the rest of the house. The foundation is different than the actual house foundation. When we got a new custom sized outside door put on, I sprayed the outside of this closets foundation with flex seal. It seamed to seal it all up nicely.

Used the spray when it first came out. Had an older fiberglass walk in shower that was starting to get cracks in the bottom. Wanted something to hold it over until I could replace the whole thing. Used white spray on a white shower. Did not hold. Did not flex. Cracks came back. It also yellowed.

Now .... Gorilla tape. I had both of my aluminum sheds damaged during Hurricane Michael. Pieces were lifted off. Edging, etc. One piece, about a 6"x12" triangle shape was literally torn off. Taped them both up ... for about 7 or 8 months until I could get replacement parts. That stuff never lifted or faded or anything. The shed guys removed it when they finally got here.

I have heard good things about the gorilla tape as well. Someone used it on a hood of a jeep been going strong for 2 years or so and never faded. I'll need to buy some just to have in my cheap seal arsinal.. lol
