Re: Insert Your Exhaust Sound Clips Here
Well from the clip it sounds almost the same LOL. If I heard you car with both pipes side to side... I could probably tell the difference.
I gotta get my o/r x-pipe on. Hopefully soon! At least it came in finally lmao. |

Yeah in the clips it doesn't sound much different. Probably because of the cheap digi camera I'm using. I actually kind of torn between the two. I wish it were louder. Maybe I'll have to try an o/r H like I had originally planned or cut the cats out of the x-pipe and try that. Man I sure hope you haven't rubbed off on me with this whole exhaust crap |

I DEFINTELY like the x-pipe more and man without the cats it REALLY gives it that raw edge, unlike the catted x-pipe where it stayed too smooth. Sounds so sick man. Thanks for pissing me off. Looks like 44's are in my future |

I was cruising the other day and there was a group of smartass kids crossing the street acting like they were hitchhiking or something. When I rolled by I threw it in neutral and hit the gas. Those fuggers jumped outta there shoes! It was funny because on of the guys was throwing his hands in the air and was so mad. I laughed my *** off!!! |

Re: Insert Your Exhaust Sound Clips Here
Weaver, I liked both the H and the X pipe. How does each of these sound in the car with the super 44's? Anyone near me in Michigan with a similar setup that I might listen to it first hand?

The h-pipe w/cats was great for someone who wanted a nice sound without the resonance and not too loud. The torque was better down low with the h-pipe but it didn't seem to flow that great on the top end. This was the best set-up for interior noise. Hope this helps |
