The Superbowl legitimized football as having their own so-called World Series, Stanley Cup, whatever else you want to call it. From 1967 forward this is what champions are based on. History is history. The Bears beat whomever lined up across from them and that included the Steelers in 1933, 1940, 1941, 1943, 1946, 1963 and 1985. We can't help it if your Johnny-come-lately team (1933) is a recent addition to the league.
