For me to get a block put aside and a discount rate, we need more than 4 people......I need to do this in EARLY January to make sure we get enough rooms. IF you want to stay at the host hotel, I need to know SOON!
Sorry, don't need a room. My father took his 38' RV and we camped at the fairground. Had a great time (even with the rain). So, we are RVing again (look out Robin Williams)!!

If you're talking about Carlisle, there is a 1/8-mile track right down the road that some folks go to on Saturday night to run for fun.

Heard you were in Joisey, to good to drop people a line and hang out? I can hang with a Texan, I got a brother in law who was an Alabama tick before shacking up with my sister.

I'll prolly partake quite a bit there, since there is no RACING!
Make sure your staying at the Homewood Suites, Host Hotel, BBQ Friday night, with plenty of adult refreshments, especially the Yuengling.

There is a track with in a 30 min trip from Carlisle, 1/8 mile track i believe. They do some runs down the track, but I don't think there is a paid competition happening.
see you in Carlisle, Pa

I don't know about Fri. night. There will no doubt be SOME people that would like to have some time to clean and prep their cars for the "Show" on Sat morning. Sat. night after all the "Show" stuff is over would be a time when everyone can let it ALL hang out. That way they don't have to worry about trying to drink some adult beverages and clean their cars in the rain for the car show in the rain. Just a thought.

I'll be enjoying a few brews on each night I am at Carlisle, the car cleaning happens in the morning and is always better with a slight hang over. I figured Saturday night would be better spent at a restaurant. But I've asked a few times for what night and didn't get many response's. Friday night sounded like the night to do it. Whats everyone else think??

Haeg, just my preference and .02. I have trouble planning that far in advance but I actually got to thinking about logistics and with two cars, the mach &'87 LX, it takes more time than we have Sat. am. Things seem so busy that I don't really relax till Sat pm. I usually do something different from the rest anyhow. Don't let me change your plans. It always rains at Carlisle and screws up my prep plans anyhow.
