It's been pretty consistent all year with the penalties. I don't think they(Roush) should be penalized as severe as the Hendricks team or DEI were earlier. However, they were not legal and a penalty is in order. I hate to say that because Edwards is a class act. |

ASSCAR screw Edwards and Roush for 25 points
And it had some bent brackets near the "low" area.
What a crock. http://www.nascar.com/2007/news/head...ine/index.html

Re: NASCAR thread
Even though the 25 point hit drops him a few spots in the chase, the points spread is so tight right now that everone is still in the chase.

Re: NASCAR thread
I don't follow NASCAR anymore for precisely this reason. Jack Roush is still the only car owner to lose points after winning a race...now a second time.

Re: NASCAR thread
I hope so.
I also hope during the victory burnout, he smacks the wall just a tiny bit to make height measurements pointless.

Re: NASCAR thread
The 'right' guy smacked the wall yesterday...during practice. I hope he continues practicing smacking the wall all day today...

Re: NASCAR thread
Jimmy took the pole (read into that what you will), and then was turning the fastes practice laps of the day when the wall jumped out in front of him. Darn...
(PS, that last part was sarcasm...just in case there was any confusion in the Henricks organization. Kinda like Kyles illegal manifold yesterday)

Re: NASCAR thread
Carl had a good attitude about it though. Stewrat may be a little pissed with Zippy!

Re: NASCAR thread
They will challenge the finish for sure. They should have let him start it up and drive to the pits.

Re: NASCAR thread
The best part was watching Stewart in the car throwing things around. He will probably blame Kurt for the incident even though there was nothing he could do.

Re: NASCAR thread
I love NASCAR coming right out and making sure everyone knew Biffle was the winner.
Translation: Shut up you whinning little wusses, and let the man enjoy the win. It's not all about the rest of you tonight!

Re: NASCAR thread
No, because when they don't, they re-write the rules.

Re: NASCAR thread
I missed the race but did catch all the news on it and must say it sounded like a bunch of babies were out on the track that day. Especially the Hendrick boys. What a bunch of ---'s! Stewart was hit harder by the #2 car than Kyle busch was hit by the #8 car. Of course the news had to go on about Jr's "stupid move" since he's not "in the chase". At least Jr was a gentleman about it and admitted he screwed up. Johnson whining about how many points he needed when Biffle actually won? F-- Johnson! NASCAR might as well make a race ONLY for the chase contenders since they think they are the only ones with anything to gain. What a mess!

Re: NASCAR thread
ASSCAR could shut the winers up by fining them and making them finish in the back.
After all, Hendrick whiners, you are not allowed to pass under caution.
