Re: College Football back in full swing!

I can't believe Iowa is ranked 4th. I saw some of that game yesterday and I don't think I've ever seen a team give up 6 turnovers and still win the game. They have'nt been this good since the early -mid 80's. I went to the '82 Rose Bowl when they got crushed by Washington.

I was hoping to see them go down in defeat, but apparently they've been a comeback team also season and yesterday was no different.

And how, pray tell, was LSU going to get to this championship game?

Re: College Football back in full swing!

By sending Satan and his minions walking home next weekend, since the bus driver will be to embarassed to drive them in his vehicle after their complete and total meltdown. Then we put it on Tebow & Co. in the SEC Champ. game and I guess meet up with Texas in the big game. Shoudl be a good year, with LSU and the Saints both taking it all.

Then after the big game you can cash in your Powerball tickets bearing the numbers you saw inscribed on the arc of the covenant during your discovery of it and go to Mars on a dinner date with Salma Hayek.

I've been loving it... planning on following them to whatever Bowl game this year. The 4th quarter was quite a turn around.

Yeah, you Tide guys do seem to have reality issues. Besides, Hayek got married recently. We don't see each other any more...

Actually we have a club and a website but we are trying to keep it quiet. No admittance without the secret handshake.

Should be a good defensive battle today, lord knows we cant score in the redzone. Nick should run alot of Ingram in the wildcat. Roll Tide!!

Dear Alabama Fans,

You are now finding out the Tennessee and LSU are not the easy win you thought they were. I guess you are not laughing now.

Signed,

Re: College Football back in full swing!

Sadly, the refs decided that LSU should lose so interceptions are now considered incomplete passes, pass interference is no longer a pentalty during various undetermined parts of the game, and holding can apparently be called on only one team per game. We did screw up that punt thing by roughing the kicker, and we did lose out starting QB, and some of our main defensive players.
Sorry we lost.
I'm sure Texas will appreciate whomever the SEC sends to play them in the Nat'l Championship game. I'm pretty sure they'll appreciate BBQ Gator, but I really don't know how they feel about BBQ Tide. Never tried it, don't really thing it'll taste all that good.

It was a good game win or lose. I would have liked to see Ingram get more carries in the first half though.

If you think that Texas will beat either Florida or Alabama you should have quit drinking at halftime.

Since I don't drink, that shouldn't be an issue. Watching all three teams play over the season, Fla. and 'Bama win, Texas wins big. It's gonne be interesting.

S.I.s writer even ranted about how LSU had gotten screwed over yesterday.

Re: College Football back in full swing!

Florida's offense looked lethargic again last night. If not for a stellar defense they would be in trouble and may be before it's over. Very disappointing.
