Re: 45th Mustang Anniversary

Thanks again guys. The most fun my wife and I had was meeting so many of you on the Reg. You are all some of the nicest people we have ever met. I think we should start our own town and name it Mach city. We need a place it's sunny all year round. A pool in every yard and so on.

Just added some more photos from the 45th, including the 'goodies' from the box...

And the SVT Raptor.

I was hoping to get a photo of my car doing the photo lap at Barber's on the last day but it was canceled, bummer. But the t-shirt was a nice replacement.

I agree. That would have been cool, even with a wet track...but the trade-off for the event t-shirt was a nice move on their part.
I did get the photo done at the MCA 35th show, and it's a nice addition to the wall.
I suspect you'll be attending more events at tracks where similar services will be offered.

Re: 45th Mustang Anniversary

This was the event of my life and the best part by far was meeting a lot of my friends from the Reg. I received the bonus box from the 45th with the help of the fuzz remover.

Re: 45th Mustang Anniversary

Something of note for all of us at the 45th. John, Bob and I bought extra cars at one of the race car tents. I was talking to Bob today and both the extra car he bought and the car that came in his 45th box do not have the Birmingham,AL April 16-19, 2009 on the base like the one I have. How about the rest of you folks?

Re: 45th Mustang Anniversary

Here are the two that I have. One that was in the welcome box at the 45th and the other purchased at the tent. I should of had one with the extra wording on it included in my welcome kit, but didn't. Don't worry Russ I won't tell you that you suck.

Re: 45th Mustang Anniversary

Neither of mine have the additional lettering. Must be only for really old people.

By the way, Russ...

Now you suck even more!

Re: 45th Mustang Anniversary

I did some checking. There was only one made with the lettering. The person who got it was supposed to bring it to the Ford booth at the Birmingham show and receive the keys to his or her 2010 Shelby GT500.
Guess you didn't get the memo...or the car...

Mine has the wording on it. Where do I get my keys?

I actually gave mine to my daughter, who loves it by the way.

I'm not a spy for Honda, honest injun. I know in your deepest desires you really want a Honda bad and I'm just the guy that can make that dream come true for you. It's red and ready for a new owner. Small fart can included.

Why yes it does. One mounted on the roof and the other on the hood. Picture your self being pulled over by the staters in your recliner with your dog laying by your side while going 70 MPH on the freeway. Hard to beat.

Check out what this complete 'gift box' went for!!!!
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...m=220427025405

Did anyone get a good shot of the SHO Taurus at the show. Could you post it up if you did. I thought I did, but obviously did not.
