Egh. I'm NOT liking the fact that all Mustang trim levels now look like Shelby's. The Shelby front treatment was my least favorite of the 2010-2012 models...and now the sixxer, Boss, and GT models are going to be carbon copies of it. Looks like I'll either be shopping for a pre-'13 5.0 or I'll be waiting for the next gen Mustangs.

Theres some things i like about the 13 model, like track app. But i agree im not sure im liking they all look the same.

Wow! Maybe I shouldn't have got Donald to sign my new copy if it lowers the value (ha ha). Thank goodness I have a copy of his first Boss 302 also autographed.

They usually only print less than 5,000 of the books during the initial printing. Motor books like this are a very niche mark publication and hence the low printing numbers. Donald told me Ford is already talking about him adding another chapter to include the 2013's and doing another run of 4400.

Production must be wrapped up, or nearly so. I saw on the Boss forums where LS#755 was delivered. With production targeted at 750, and Ford replacing those damaged in transit that should be about it. I'll be real curious to see final production number breakdown of all Bosses, especially late changes like the introduction of Sonic Blue to the color chart.

I was at a Sears parking lot today and a guy drove up in a Boss Halloween Special ,Orange and Blk. I can see why they dropped that combo! Worse the the guy acted like it was a ZO6, he dressed the part too, gold chains , rings and Rolex.

I know extra production of LSs was allowed to compensate for cars damaged during shipment.
There are some photos on the Team Shelby/Boss Forums site of the 1 of 1 yellow/white car.

"The downside to the powertrain is the six speed manuals shifter... Bang the shifter at high rpm and at best you hit a brick wall in the neutral gate or worse generate a sickinging high speed grinding.You sure as heck wont grab a gear. This is the Boss 302 s weakest link !"

I say the MGW SHIFTER is EXPENSIVE but less so than a trans ! It should be a crime that Ford didnt go aftermarket on a shifter to get press like this on an otherwise flawless limited production car !

Yup thats exactly what happens to me, i finally recieved my shifter Friday, took 2 months to get but well worth it.
Cost me nearly $ 400.00
