I bought my '03 on 10/09/03. About a week or two later I saw a screaming yellow '04 at the dealer with a yellow spoiler instead of black. I'm not sure if it was sold or documented that way.

Yea, there were an unusual number of factory "errors" with the '03 and '04 Mach's. What gets me are the more obvious ones like the driver's and the passenger front seats don't even match. How could the quality inspector at the factory not notice?

Now, does owning an "error", raise for lower its value?

According to the previous owners Mach tag my CO 04 states 9-29-03. I believe it was ordered around 1/31 or a little before. I should check the VIN

Let me know if you confirm the born-on-date (BOD) of 9/29/03. You might have the "oldest" 04 Mach 1. I believe that prior information showed 9/30/03 as the earliest build date for an 04.
