Seems like every other pack I opened that year had another Mickey Mantle or Warren Spahn card in it. I notice today one in good condition is worth $300 while a good Warren Spahn will bring around $50. If I had saved all those cards and hadn't flipped 'um, motor biked'em, and carried them around in my back pocket --- I could have bought me a new 2010 Shelby GT-500 for cash by selling them on e-Bay.

Yeah, but if Russ really does have a Honus Wagner cars, he could sell it but Shelby American...or at least one of every car they make, made, or will make.

Would you like me to post a picture of my Honus Wagner card?

Looks like it came off the back of a Cracker Jack box. Did it come with a decoder ring?

I thought you might have the 'real' Honus Wagner card...
http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,396585,00.html
This card is something legends are made of, and the story behind its rarity is equally interresting.

Dave, if he's a relative of yours...you might check and see if he left anyone one of these.

Re: I have something you don't.

Here's one I bet you don't have. Maybe nobody else here has one but I have two. Bought them in 2004 from Ford Collection and they didn't last long before being sold out. Added the patches during the Mustang Across America drive.

You of all people should have known how excited I was when I opened my box of cracker Jacks to find this card and yes I will trade you the card for your car.

Re: I have something you don't.

I have 2 unopened packs of 1994 Mustang cards.
Also, a ton of Davey Allison and Alan Kulwicki stuff.
Bill Elliott also.
I used to have a Monogram 1983 TBird kit
of the yellow and blue Wrangler #15 Bud Moore car.
Anyone remember who drove that car?

Don't worry Ray, I think the culprit was Russ who buffed his car with my jacket. The proof is in the picture, no jacket.

Ya thanks! I would NEVER do that.
My arm in that pic looks similar in color to the Mustang fender.

There is the possibility that he paid someone to buff his car with my jacket. I thought I overheard these guys saying "He wants us to buff his car with the guys jacket?"

I was just kidding about the coat. When Bob and I were at the Laundromat in Bermingham, Al. I made a mistake, thought his cloths were my wash rags and took them. Sorry but you must be wearing my wash rags now, right?
