Wow, info overload!! So, 2 Cobra pumps (Are they sold individually??), wire upgrade, BAP and I can use the stock FDMP?? Need to PM what I need !! What is a PPRV delete? Man, what a mouth full I have bitten off!!

Re: My P1SC kit, what do I need????

if you have a boost a pump you can skip the pprv delete and power wire upgrade. (pprv delete - theres a check valve system between the fuel pumps and where the fuel comes out of the hat, it keeps all the fuel in the lines from dropping back into the tank when you shut the car off, its a slight restriction in the system is all).

Ok, with the Kenne Bell BAP, do you still have to get Cobra pumps? (Guess what I am asking is why can't the BAP be used with our existing pump? I would for piece of mind do the woire upgrade ($50), really would like for someone to just say "Buy this" lol, I think even with the Cobra Pumps, the BAP just helps it work better?? And do I need to order 2 pumps( think they are sold individually).

Re: My P1SC kit, what do I need????

you probably dont want to buy 03/04 cobra pumps new at this point, the price has gotten stupid high (I think they wanted soething like 850 for both pumps in the hat). You need to find the dual pumps, in the cobra hat with a fuel level sender (ours wont transfer over).

Even with a boost a pump our pumps cannot flow enough to support the power

Also, already I think I messed up, got #39 injectors coming, I see NOW on the ProCharger thread, everyone is running #42 injectors, will I be ok? And it is looking like Cobra pumps for fuel? I figured Cobra MAF and Injectors would do, need to stop buying, hopefully #39 ok.
your fine with the 39lbs...

i still would have kept your stock maf and added the MAFia...

Kinda found out to late, maybe someone will trade MAFia for Cobra 90 MAF if I have to, all I can do is try it. Other than Cobra pumps, what is a good alternative and still not sure if the BAP is needed, sorry for my ignorance, I am trying to get it all together to do one shot install, not comfortable buying USED fuel pumps, been on Lethal website and the choices are boggling. Might have to go to ProCharger thread and take an average of what fuel pumps people have, just have to keep remembering they are sold as 1 and I need 2. Thanks guys, sorry I am still kinda lost on this fuel/BAP issue. Thanks to Rice Slayer for emailing me a manual

Re: My P1SC kit, what do I need????

Thanks littlemags

So for quanity I get "2" ? Never though about it, when I take out the hat now, do we have one or two fuel pumps stock?? Think that is what is messing me up, getting two and putting in tank, sooo.. two pumps and a BAP, maybe upgrade wire as well.
With 2 pumps do you need to FPDM's???
Can I run like one 340 pump??
Does the Cobra MAF habe the IAT built in??
Since it is a used head unit, how can I find out what size pulley is on it? ( Been using the search ALOT...promise).

I'm running a D1sc (4.15" pulley making a hair over 10psi) with 39# cobra injectors, a MAFia, and a 340lph DivisionX Stryker pump from Lethal. I dyno'd 461rwhp and 455rwtq, he said my fuel pump duty cycle was around 80% or so. He recommended I keep it under 5500rpm for the fact I can't slow the D1 down anymore an it was starting to run out of fuel up top. The tuner said (and I agree) I should get a BAP and 60# injectors an get a retune.. Could be a sales pitch, could be his opinion.. It's been over a year now with 1/4 mile passes, friendly runs and daily driving. No issues but 60's a BAP an retune will happen 1 day congrats btw

I'm running a Focus SVT single pump with a BAP and 42lb injectors. Guess we'll see what the tuner recommends in a couple of weeks. I do believe you would either need 2 fpdm's or a modified fpdm to run dual pumps if you really wanted to go that route.

Just make sure what ever pump you decide to go with, read carefully in the product descriptions if they are for a returnless, or return type fuel system. Our mustangs come factory with a returnless style fuel system and you would have to run a second fuel line to your fuel hat if you got a return style pump other wise it will burn the pump up.

The IAT sensor is not built into a MAF. It is it's own separate sensor but the wires taped together as a single harness with the MAF sensor since they are typically installed one right after the other after your air filter. Your engine is already equipped with one.

As far as what size pulley is on it, it might be written on the pulley somewhere. I know my Vortech has it stamped on there but then again different brand.

Pulley size should be stamped on the back side of the pulley.

Found this , what do you think??

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Kenne-Bell-4...ef20a5&vxp=mtr

Ordering the Divison X Stryker 340 lph from Lethal Performance, upgrade wire kit and was thinking of the above, seems cheap price , but may be worth a shot at $58.00

No sh**, where do you get pulleys from ATI?? Also, I filled out a form in an email to send it in to have it checked, no response, (there is some marks( more like small gouges) like something got sucked in impeller, on like 3 of the vanes, will take pic), is it better to call them???

Ive never tried to email them, always called them, make sure you have the serial number of the blower handy (its engraved on the metal tag on the head unit).

Id put up a want to buy/want to trade thread, should be able to land a 4" a bit cheaper than what procharger wants

Re: My P1SC kit, what do I need????

A 3.80 pulley just came up on ebay for $40, what psi would I be looking at with 3.20?? 3.80?? For stock bottom end, do I need the 3.80, or should I just wait till tuned? Be happy with 450-470 rwhp, how do you know what pulley to use, is there a guide somewhere or like a conversion chart for pulley/psi??
Want to know if this is what I should get (3.80 ) before someone scoops it up, thanks!!!

There is also a 3.85 for sale.

Re: My P1SC kit, what do I need????

Cant remember exactly, but I believe the general rule was 1 pound per .1 inch.

For instance, I was running a 4.1" pulley and seeing 9.5 pounds of boost. If I dropped it down to a 4.0" pulley I would expect to see about 10.5 pounds of boost.

Keep in mind that indicated boost does not necessarily mean hp. I always considered a boost number an indication of how efficient your engine is sucking in air and blowing it out. For instance.

You have two identical built engines except one has ported heads and long tube headers. In order for the two engines to make the same HP I would expect the stock engine to have a higher boost number due to the other engine breathing more efficiently. Both make same power, but different indicated boost numbers.

Bottom line is do not get hung up on boost numbers, what really matters is your tune and the rwhp.

Re: My P1SC kit, what do I need????

like I said a 4" with a pretty much other wise stock car (catted midpipe etc) made something like 10.3 psi on a cool evening at 6800. I think a 3.85 would be closing on 12psi. I made 490 uncorrected, 460something corrected. A 4" pulley is plenty for a stock motor and your goals unless you can trust yourself to keep the rpms down a bit

Re: My P1SC kit, what do I need????

Ok, got in MAF, injectors... 3.85 pulley on the way, in a bidding war for BAP, found this for gages...opinions please??? Not sure, think air one probably needs to be more precise but not sure. If not, recommendations for gages?? Next purchase fuel pump and wire upgrade, have pipes redone, plugs then I think I am ready,(oh, ship blower to ATI, dang keep forgetting that!!). Let me know yea or nay on link below, again thanks!!
