Re: NASCAR thread
Thank you, I stand duly corrected.
But I don't think it will catch on in NASCAR like in other series. Many times after impact you end up back on the racing surface and exposed to FAR more danger than a broken wrist that might be averted or assaged somewhat depending on the position of your car on the track, so it seems to me it would behove a driver to do what he could to control the car to whatever extent possible.

Re: NASCAR thread
Montoya has a problem with running over stuff during cautions, just ask Michael Schumacher.

Re: NASCAR thread
Don't worry, jet fuel doesn't burn hot enough to damage concrete or steel, right?

Re: NASCAR thread
I think after this race, Indy/F1 car drivers should NOT be allowed to race in the nascar series...

Re: NASCAR thread
Jet dryers should have a fuel cell.
Drivers should NOT remove their helmets until the car is stopped after the race. Why? Ask Lee Shepherd.

Re: NASCAR thread
I don't blame Montoya for this. He went into the pits cause his car didn't feel right but his crew said they didn't see anything wrong. They sent him back out and he had a mechanical failure causing this wreck.

Re: NASCAR thread
Chad Knauss fined 100k and suspended for 6 races for cheating at Daytona.
He appealing, so he will be allowed to cheat again until a hearing. LINK Also, JJ was docked 26 points. I guess that's 13 points per attempted lap. LINK
