Driving home I had to stop at the pool supply to pick up chemicals and 8 pool noodles...i could barely see out of the mach it was so loaded up with crap by the time I got in the driveway...Had a great time again .Carlisle is definetly my "do not miss' event of the year..great to meet new freinds as well.....now i got to get back to observing my anniversary that I miss every year........

And to everyone, wish I could have made it to all the Mach 1 events @ Carlisle. It's always a blast, had to take this year off but hope to back next year for entire event.

This was my 10th All Ford Carlisle in a row and once more it was like a family reunion than a car show, only it's with people I really like.

It was great to see everybody again. For some it had been a few years and it's always nice to meet our newer members and people who are just discovering the joys of Mach 1 ownership. I missed a couple of normal regulars but can understand their situations. Hopefully the coming year will be better for all who couldn't make it this time.

The weather was as unpredictable as ever, cold and rainy one day and hot as hades the next. I think I may have a cold to go with my sunburn this year. Once again I stayed till the end and collected a bunch of tickets from those of you who left early. And once again I didn't win the Carlisle Give-away-car. I promise I will continue to try and if I ever do win, I sell the car immediately and take everybody out for a steak dinner the following year.

Check out the photo gallery and post up your pictures of Carlisle 2009. I've added a bunch that could probably use a few comments to better explain who they are or whose cars are photographed. I'm still in Carlisle at the motel and will be leaving early in the morning for my 10 hour drive back home. Glad to see folks posting up that they made it home safely and I will do the same tomorrow when I get home.

Please advise how do I get the pics into the gallery?? It wont let me in.
here are mine, maybe they arent good enough this year!!!

Loved seeing Bills photos posted in the gallery. Had to leave some comments on them. They are great.
I'd say Achmed got around...not too bad, for a dead guy!
From the looks of the other photos I surmise; you kept Scott Hoag busy working on sequential installations, it rained, then it didn't, and Ray drank. (Big stretch on that last one! )

Hope it was a good time for all in attendance. Hope to make it up there one year.

Same here, Joan. There just doesn't seem to be enough time. I was hoping to pick up some more photography tips and ask about how your young sailor was doing? My son is in the A.F. now and is deployed to Iraq flying on C-130's. Glad you're doing okay, just listen to the Doc's and follow orders, they're getting better every day and you will too.

As far as posting pictures in the gallery, you just have to go slow and do one at a time. Also they is a limit on max size. I think usually under a meg will go through fine. Hope your hubby is doing fine also, I didn't get to see him at all.

Did anyone get a count of the # of '03-'04 mach's there on Sat.? I thought Brian said 43-44. I know I saw 3-4 parked in areas other than the assigned class areas. The turnout was better than I thought it might be. Yea Bill, ONLY 364 days till 2010 Carlisle! I'll make my reservations next week

Curt only won because I wasn't there to give him any real competition Way to go buddy, another trophy for the shelf! I made due with going to the cruise-in up at Pike Creek on Saturday. You could definitely tell it was All Ford Nationals time at Carlisle, because I was one of only a handful of Fords there.

I guess there was not a award for muddyest Mach 1. If you saw my parking spot you know what I mean.

Yes, there were a few BAD Muddy spots, but, not much we could do with the rain on Friday.....They packed us in pretty good! We had to double park a few cars around the tent, since we ran out room.

John, Here;s one for you!

Also, I think Ford (John Clor) had something to do with us being near the Ford Display. He said they rearranged the parking a bit.....hmmmm. I think it was a great location. (Other than some of the mud)

Congrats to the winners, I was in disbelief when I seen how many Machs were there.. From rain and cold Friday to hot andsunburnt on Sat and Sunday..Great show..

I counted 44 in our area and about 5-6 others scattered through the field.

Well I finally made it home from Carlisle. I left at 0430 and missed the morning traffic jambs. Very nice ride back 662 miles each way. All the cops I didn't see coming down must have read my post on that as the were out in force today. The state of Virgina was really racking up revenues from out of state folks as I probably saw 8 or 10 with blue lights flashing with customers on the side of I-81.

Another fun time and great event, see you guys next year.
