Re: NASCAR thread
Thanks for bringing up the true cause of yestedays meele, and the question begs why those who are so concerned about Edwards' actions a few weeks ago let JJ off without a peep. He coudl have done serious harm to not only Kurt (not that many would care), but to Sadler, who has been a pretty decent person amoung the NASCAR ranks regardless of whether he's going to jump from the Ford ship at the end of season.

Re: NASCAR thread
JJ sucks at bump drafting and didn't intend to wreck anyone. He was sorry it happened and expressed it right after the mess. Edwards hooked the same guy twice to intentionally wreck him. He only regrets the bad press and disapproval of MOST of the drivers in all of the divisions in which he drives.
I don't really think JJ was serious about wrecking Kurt a few weeks ago. I'm not a JJ fan but he seems focused on NOT wrecking anyone, that includes his car. The situations are totally different but he might want to be careful around the blue deuce.

Re: NASCAR thread
JJ has gotten an apparently unspoken reputation for causing such pile ups, but no one points the finger at him while his mess is being cleaned up. JJ at least gave many what they wanted to see, an unobstructed view of the new FR9 engine...namely Sadlers, completely seperated from the car.
I doubt it'll be so quiet if Kurt decides to find retribution.

Re: NASCAR thread
I hate the chase format. It would surprise me if he got in. They might have to do a fan vote in for him.

Re: NASCAR thread
He's overrated. He's got really big shoes to fill, and I don't see it happening this year or anytime soon. Sorry junior but you're my last pick even if you are popular.

Re: NASCAR thread
Edwards on the pole, Biff on fire, this could be a very good weekend for the blue oval teams.

There is even a website dedicated to his unsuccessful career. He's only popular because of his name. Sorry Jr. fans, that's the truth and you know it!!!! Check out this site http://www.over88ted.com/

Re: NASCAR thread
That's fine if your a #88 fan cause at least you are realistic. A lot of Jr. nation would say that he WILL make it into the chase. I just don't like his fans that always say or think that Jr. is the best out there.
I like him as a person and he doesn't drive like an idiot but he is not the most talented driver out there. Again this link puts it in perspective. http://www.over88ted.com/

Re: NASCAR thread
Well, here goes another race day. Michigan.
What's eveyone elses take on this joint? Me, I don't care much for it. Little too wide and smooth. Just not alot of character. Too many setups can work well here and that makes it too easy for alot of cars to compete and hitting on a specific setup(which I believe is important/fun for each track to have it's own setup) not as crucial as say a track like Bristol or Texas. What's y'alls opinions? Let's hear 'em!
