I sincerely enjoyed almost everything after the third lap (I did not enjoy seeing Carl get taken out (stupid Juan Problem Montoya) and I can't wait until the new #48 diecast comes out with todays paint scheme. A couple of more races like that and I may just get excited about NASCAR again.

Me too.

Unfortunately Mr. Milquetoast is the reason the sport has become so stale. The most exciting thing he's done in the last 4 years was to fall off the top of a golf cart!

I completely forgot the Bud Shootout was tonight. I caught it with 40 laps left. I knew that restart with 2 laps left was gonna be a wreck for sure. Everyone was bump drafting the hell out of each other. If it would'nt have been Gordon wrecking someone it would have been someone else. One thing I noticed tonight is these cars can race on their own. You don't necessarily need a train to pass anymore. Superbowl tomorrow and the Daytona 500 next week. Two top notch events.

I am sitting here in the stands and just watched the first of the two duals. IMHO Jimmy Johnson is BAD for NASCAR. I near the point of stopping to watch because he is NASCARS golden boy.

Yeah, after watching that race I just shook my head and realized their is nothing keeping this guy from winning a 5th straight. He is incredible. I don't hate him as a driver like I do Jeff Gordon, but I have been watching less Nascar each year so that may be why. I was glad to see Michael Waltrip crash and burn. I can't stand that guy. I hope he does'nt make the race.

Dale Earnhardt Jr = AWESOME!

21st in the the duel, that works out to about 40th best if they were all on the track together. He was one spot behind the always awesome Derrick Cope, but he was able to edge the world famous Aric Almirola.

Now I know why he is so popular.
