Gee whiz, Russ. Everyone else is getting SATCOM and Blackberrys and you get a "telephone with a hand crank". Just kidding, Bro. You think those truckers will talk to a four-wheeler?

I am working of a list of places to eat (which is very important to me). I'll post the resturants here and also in your cruise package you will get the same list. Along with directions to the cruise location in case someone gets seperated from the group.

I was told to prepare for 500 cars but we have room for many more. The best advice I can give now is start lining up around 5:30 pm that night. We will have a large law enforcement escort and certain exits will be blocked at certain times. The convoy will leave Barbers NO LATER THAN 6:30 REGARDLESS. The quicker you get in line the better.

The escort will include but is not limited to; The Alabama Highway Patrol, Leeds P.D., Irondale P.D., Birmingham P.D., Homewood P.D. and The Jefferson County Sheriff Department. As with the last convoy the old Special Service Package Mustang Police cars will be invited to lead the convoy also.

I'll give an update later.

This is AWESOME and THANKS so much for the efforts!
Remind me when we meet, I'd like to have a couple my treat!

No Kidding??? I thought Russ was a former stage coach driver and that's how he ended up out West.

It's been twenty-five years since I heard, "Break one-nine, how about a Smoky Report?" I can still remember hearing the same report, "There was one rolling at mile marker 71 heading north on 95," two hours later while traveling.

Hopefully, Russ can get in the rocking chair behind the Snowman and the Bandit. Just beware of any Kojak's with a Kodak. I'll be ten-seven till then.

Thanks for all your help on the cruise logistics.
If we have enough folks contact Dave so we can have a Mach 1 area it will be easy. If not we will have to get together for the line up. I will not be in the cruise itself, I will be in Homewood waiting for it to arrive along with several parkers.

Whatever happens make sure you are in line and ready to leave at 6:30 pm.

Yeah, guys and gals, when I asked Dave how things were progressing regarding our own parking area at the 45th, he said only about a half dozen people had contacted him with the necessary information! I think he needs at least 25 confirmed people to get the spaces. Let's get with the program folks! Send Dave a PM or email with your name, and confirmation number from MCA so we can get this set up! Time's a wastin', it'll be here before you know it.

PLEASE PM or send your conformation numbers to Dave so we can get the area to park together! We have to have 25 numbers to reserve a spot.

Re: 45th Mustang Anniversary

Again I cannot stress this fact strongly enough. If we do not have 25 confirmation numbers sent to Dave in the next couple of weeks. The Mach 1s will not have a reserved parking area. Send your confirmation numbers to Dave as soon as possible.

In other news Ford has finally put their finger on the show and all I can say is WWWWWOOOOOOOOWWWWW this is going to be big.

If you were at Barbers for the MCA 30th there were about 850 to 1000 cars at that event. At present we have close to 1500 cars already in the event and the numbers are growing daily.

If you are not registered for this event or are on the fence about coming don't miss out on the chance of a life time.

One of the events of the weekend that has not been talked about very much at all is the Ford Mustang Racing Challenge that will be going on during the weekend. The race will be Sunday at noon.

Again if you are not registered for the 45th Anniversary - REGISTER TODAY!!!
