18x9/10 Anthracite Bullitts and honeycomb rear panel were ordered today. Anyway, my past Mustangs include: 2003 Cobra (Black, 6-speed) 2001 Bullitt (DHG, #4990) 1991 GT (Black, 5-speed) :ORANGE: |

Re: Is the Mach your 1st Stang?
I have question about the 03-04 engines that the Mach 1 has . Someone told me that Ford put some sort of govenor or restriction plate on the engine to slow them down. If this true, how do I get it off and will it screw up my Emission testing? Thanks Lube

Re: Is the Mach your 1st Stang?
Mach is my first stang , as well as "my" first car. I'm 18 and working ridiculous hours got me this car. My own name , insurance , and all the upgrades are my money. This tends to be why I take better care of my car then a lot of friends my age with nice vehicles.

Re: Is the Mach your 1st Stang?
The mach is my first mustang. Hate to admit it, but I was in the market for an evo or sti but once I saw that dsg mach 1, I had to have it. Safe to say, if and when I ever sell it, I will get another mustang.

Re: Is the Mach your 1st Stang?
This is my first mustang. This car is everything and more that I thought it would be. The first time I reved to 2k and drop the clutch I was in another world. A magical world of tire smoke and torque! I was looking at a 86 gt real hard but realized it was quite the project to make it into something nice. My DD is a focus but damned if I can't stop driving the mach1 to work. The only thing slowing me down is 3 bucks a gallon for 93.

Re: Is the Mach your 1st Stang?
I started with an 84.5 SVO, 95 GT, 93 GT conv. (my ZO6 killer), and know my 03 MACH 1 which has to be my favorite. Only ones left are the 93 and the MACH.

Re: Is the Mach your 1st Stang?
Years ago I was out of town on business and my ex-wife told me her LTD wasn't starting. I told her to drive my old 82 5.0 GT 4 speed. The next day she said the clutch was'nt working. I phoned my brother and he said he would put a clutch in until I returned. That clutch lasted about 6 hours. When I returned I dropped the tranny and saw something I'll never forget. All the friction material was plastered around the bellhousing. Not a speck left on the clutch plate. 90lb clutches are not for first timers.

Re: Is the Mach your 1st Stang?
This is my third.
First was an '85 GT. Last carbureted Mustang, had a Holley 4-bbl. Very quick but the carb was a pain in the ***. It was a lot of fun, but I didn't shed any tears when I sold it. I bought my '95 GT new. It breaks my heart to have to sell it, it's been the most reliable car I've ever seen. Now have a gorgeous black '04 Mach 1.

Re: Is the Mach your 1st Stang?
my 4th stang.
1st- 2003 laser red gt and it died on me at 1900 miles, got it replaced with the 2nd stang - 2004 dsg gt under lemon law. 3rd stang - 2004 dsg traded it in with an 04 mach 1 (dsg), only 200 miles and she has defect already. it just died and some torque converter sensor or something. 4th stang - dealer replaced it again with another dsg mach 1, luckily i researched their inventory and found 1 more available or elase i would have been stucked with the other mach (ticking sound on that one was way too loud). the only problem i noticed w/ my last stang was some decals missing on one side and they have to reorder it. i checked the vin # if there was body work done to it and showed none.
