Re: Go Rockies!
Great team
Lived in Denver for 20 years and went to 10-15 Rocky games a season back in the Blake Street Bomber days! GM Dan O'Dud gutted the team starting back in 1999 and attendance that was averaging 3 mil a year dropped to 2mil and hasn't improved since. Predict they will take Cleveland :ORANGE: |

Re: Go Rockies!
They are a VERY dangerous team right now.. Luckey and Good at the same time. That's an unbeatable combination.

Re: Go Rockies!
Your Tribe is playing my Sox and the're not making it easy. I think this series is gonna go to seven games. Your team is very good. Tonights game will be interesting.
Either way those Rockies are red hot and are gonna be well rested for whoever they meet next. Maybe with a nice long break they'll cool off a little?

Re: Go Rockies!
Rockies Rule! If you haven't gone to Coors Field you gotta go. It is the best viewing ballpark (IMHO) of them all. Just another thing I miss about Devner.

Re: Go Rockies!
The Sox are in definite trouble... they will be a LOT weaker when they go to Coors field. They'll be forced to either sit Youkilis or Ortiz (who has a bum knee)... and Manny won't be saved by the Green Giant as Coors field is one of the biggest and sorry, but he's arguably one of the worst defending LFer's in baseball... I'm tired of Joe Buck praising him for that BAD CALL on Game 7.

Re: Go Rockies!
When the Sox win again tonight, does that mean they'll be in even more trouble? I'm not a big Manny fan myself, but based on the way the Rockies were hitting last night the Sox didn't need any outfielders.
On rare occasions a Cindarella team like the Rockies does win it all, but more often than not they lose, and lose badly.

Re: Go Rockies!
I hate DH's. Let that pussy pitcher hit! The AL sucks for this one reason!

The Rockies not hitting had more to do with Beckett's ridiculous curveball than their lack of skill... Tonight was a night of pitching and sadly for the Rockies sake, they made ONE more mistake than the Red Sox did. That's really all it came down to... I really don't think the Red Sox's other pitchers have shown they're all that stellar. You really don't understand how fragile the Red Sox bullpen is... they have their starters and their reliever and closer. If they can do that consistently.. they'll win games. If they can't (a la Indians games)... they'll lose. I sure as hope the "Sox" are the better team... they're about 3x the Rockies' payroll. But they're not that much better like the rest of the NorthEast would have you believe.

Colorado had a good team this year and I would be sirprised to see the Sox sweep them but there is no question that overall the Sox is a better team.

I do have to tip my hat to the Rockies they have been on a heck of a run the last few weeks, but they werent hitting well in their first two series and these Red Sox pitchers as a group are way better than the Phillies and Dbacks. I watch alot of baseball too, and nothings gonna get me mad. Except maybe the Red Sox losing...

Re: Go Rockies!
There's nothing worse for a team thats on a roll, than a long break. I think the Sox are fortunate that their series with the Indians went seven games. They won the last last three there and the momentum carried over.
