beware - photobucket issues
Photobucket has become ridiculous in their efforts to drive revenue. Their website is borderline unusable due to all the adds unless you pay them. They are also limiting bandwidth to photos posted on websites/forums as well as embedding images on other sites (like this one). From what some are saying if you want to embed images you have to pay a monthly fee.
I have downloaded all my content stored on PB and pretty much expect that if all my photos posted here arent already not working they soon will not appear which royally sucks with all the info Ive posted here. Im going to move to a new host (probably Flickr) and I will put a link in my sig for anyone looking for images Ive posted but theres no way Im going to go update all the photo links. another option for people wishing to post pictures here may be to use the Tapatalk app since I believe the direct photoupload/attach feature isnt working here. seriously though, if you have content stored on photobucket and dont have a local copy I would download all your albums NOW. NOTE THAT VIDEOS AND GIFS MUST BE DOWNLOADED SEPARATELY, THEY WILL NOT BE INCLUDED IN YOUR PHOTO ZIP FILE! Personally I would take pics on my cellphone, upload to PB and delete from my phone so I had no copies.

Re: beware - photobucket issues
Yeah, I've been experiencing a lot of issues with photobucket lately. The ads have gotten ridiculous, EVEN though I paid for a supposed ad-free account. I'll also be downloading all of my images to backup, even though I already have copies. They just aren't categorized the same. I figure this is the downfall of photobucket. If they don't change their billing to something reasonable and tone down the ads, I figure it will be gone in a year or so.

Re: beware - photobucket issues
I saw the writing on the wall and dropped them like a bad habit yearrrsssss ago. Hosting websites are a joke. That's why I never post pics of my car or things I'm selling. Not worth dealing with the bs. I won't even click on a photobuket link.

Re: beware - photobucket issues
Agreed. Photobucket is crap. Tried to view a few pics this morning and it was nothing but ads and more ads.

Re: beware - photobucket issues
I gave up on photobucket years ago when i started editing and caring about quality. I like and use Flickr. Smugmug is a option if you want to pay.

Re: beware - photobucket issues
photos.google.com
All my pics on M1R are linked to there; you can have private and public folders. If I ever want to stop sharing then I can just change a folder to private.

Re: beware - photobucket issues
I'll have to find it again but there's supposedly a browser add on that will make the pictures work again

I think the reason I've never used one of the photo hosting sites is because they are all blocked on my work PC's and laptops.
