New coil covers
A friend of mine asked me last year if he could take some measurements of my coil covers to try and duplicate the layout for a project and I said, hey if it works out put THIS in the middle.

Re: New coil covers
Cool! Even better, he can probably work with you on a custom one or something!
Looks like he has quite a few different designs available.

Re: New coil covers
Thanks, next thing is powder coating. I'm thinking dsg in the low parts surrounding the letters, black inside the letters like on the trunk and clear over the polished alum.
Those covers look cool too, along with the oil cap which im guessing is just a cover but I wouldn't want to have mach 1 printed all over the place either. |

I have a set I bought about a year and a half ago. They look really good, maybe not as good as the original ones some other company made years back, but still really good.

Re: New coil covers
Those look great. Not to hijack the thread or anything but if I wanted to send my coil covers off to be powder coated, will I be safe to drive around without them?

Re: New coil covers
With no coil covers you just wanna try to minimize exposure to water. You could always try to pick up or borrow a set super cheap while your good ones get coated

Re: New coil covers
Thanks! As long as I can safely drive. I won't be anywhere near water anytime soon.

Re: New coil covers
Those look great and will be even better after powder coating. I stripped my coil & valve covers and had them powder coated to match my blower. I found an aluminum Whipple insert to fill the stock V8 sticker.
