Scam? 1969 Ford Mustang Mach
Recently I inquired about a 1969 Mach 1 at this link:
http://www.2040-cars.com/Ford/Mustan...ach-1-1233664/ Here's what I said, "Hello, I found this ad on 2040 Cars with an asking price of US $12,300.00. Is this car still for sale? tawnyteerich@celticfans.com . Up for sale is one beautiful 1969 Ford Mustang Mach 1 with a built 351 Windsor and 4 speed manual transmission. This is a real 63C Mach 1 with full Marti Report and window sticker. This Mach 1 is a factory A.C, factory power disk brakes ..Thanks, Marty" I got a reply several days later, "Still for sale. Garage kept. No accidents. Clean title in hand. Original bill of sale. Where are you located ? PICS ATTACHED ! Thanks" My reply, "I am in North Florida. Are you a Dealer or Private seller? Thanks, Marty " Their reply, St B <blue.oceann1970@gmail.com> Re: 1969 Ford Mustang Mach 1 $11,200 "Hi, Due to the high volume of internet scams, I give you the chance to receive the car at your home address BEFORE i receive my money for it. I appreciate your interest but I want to let you know that the car is located in Portugal. I purchased the car in US and I moved to Europe, in Portugal the law is different recording the registration of a vehicle that is outside of Europe, it is expensive and difficult to register this car in Portugal, this is the reason of selling. Instead of letting it sit in the garage I've decided to sell it at low price. I can ship the car to you, also I can be responsible for the transport cost and you'll pay after inspection. The car looks and runs fantastic! Within 19 days you will get the car and you will have a period of 2 days to inspect the car and when the inspection period ends, if everything is fine you can make the payment. CLEAN TITLE IN HAND, NO LIENS OR ISSUES! If you are interested let me know and I will provide you more information and more pics. I'm looking forward to hear from you soon." You have to be kidding me, I wonder what kind of scam this is and is there something I can do or should do?

Re: Scam? 1969 Ford Mustang Mach
Considering that the resto shop shown in the photo shows the exact same car as sold for over twice the amount that this person is asking throws up all kind of red flags. He just lifted the photos and description and pasted to wherever this is.

Re: Scam? 1969 Ford Mustang Mach
I contacted Barn Fresh Classics via email on the 13th. I included the link and the email conversation.
So far no reply from them?? I guess they don't care.
