Re: HP limit for stock rails and stock fuel lines
On a related note......how big are the stock injectors on the Machs? I"m only looking at heading up to approx. 500HP (Crank). Do I really need to upgrade the stock injectors and Fuel Pump for my Procharger install?

As far as the stock rails and lines go, I made 650 rwhp through a C4, so they can sustain quite a bit of power. |

Re: HP limit for stock rails and stock fuel lines
Thanks all for the advice. I'm going to go with the fuel pump and injectors that are supplied with the Procharger Complete system.
I've see some online retailers that are also supplying a MAFia (Diablosport?) with their complete systems......I'm assuming this helps with ensuring the stock MAF calibrates correctly with the supercharger added? It's not supplied with Procharger kit, so I'm assuming that they accomplish the same thing via the supplied chip....or optional Diablosport Predator programmer.....?? |

Re: HP limit for stock rails and stock fuel lines
Remember you guys he says he is going the E85 route. E85 uses a minimum of 1/3 more fuel to make the same hp. He will need to upgrade for 700RWHP using E85!!

Re: HP limit for stock rails and stock fuel lines
Exactly. Everyone is giving advice but not for what the OP is using, E85. That changes everything.

Just buy the fuel system for E85 and be done with it.

Re: HP limit for stock rails and stock fuel lines
Not sure why anyone would go to E85 when you can just get a tune for C16 and use 93 when driving normally, but if you do go E85, definitely upgrade your entire fuel system.

Re: HP limit for stock rails and stock fuel lines
Because you can use 93 when driving normally and switch to e85 tune for the track and it costs about 5 dollars per gallon less than C16 and has so far been proven to actually make abit more power than C16.

Re: HP limit for stock rails and stock fuel lines
Friend of mine made 712HP at the wheels on E85, dual pumps, BAP, fuel rails and 80# injectors and return style fuel lines. His setup can handle much more than 700HP. However, when he converted to E85 he already had all of this but he had to upgrade his injectors from 60# to 80#.
My point is, you will need some really big injectors to do 700HP with E85!

Re: HP limit for stock rails and stock fuel lines
and... with really big injectors come all the other supporting mods required to support that much fuel flow... pumps, etc.

Re: HP limit for stock rails and stock fuel lines
Tripple Fore hat with tripple Ford GT pumps, dual FPDMs with -8 AN fuel lines, Fore fuel rails and 80# injectors setup in a return style will easily support 700+ hp on e85, no BAP required.
