Dave, Carlisle won't be the same without you. I guess your mach won't get any miles put on this year! Take care over there and we'll look for you in 2010!

Re: Carlisle All Ford Nationals - Mach 1 Registry Meet 2009
I have not booked a room, and will most likely not be staying over night at all. Money, the childrens activities and other reason's will be the reason. I still want to be their on Saturday at least and hang with the group. It's always a blast and something I will truely miss out on, being at the hotel with the crew, cruising to the show field. Looking towards 2010 to stay over again. If things change we will try for a possible Friday night stay over. Someone else may want to take on organizing the BBQ. I have not had any time to view the registry, and will not be able to keep on things, sorry. I will definitely be there, on Saturday.
Be safe in China, Dave. Congrats on another grand child. Bill (linumup) Hope to make it to Cecil for the Mach1 race, and if you guys can swing it, the steaks would be great. Last year I purchased the meats (dogs & burgers), potatoe salad and brought some other foods/supplys. The first year I did the same and brought three full racks of BBQ ribs. I don't have deep pockets, but wanted to make this event a good one. I hope it keeps getting bigger and better. Have fun everyone.

I think China is just a cover so he doesn't have to put more miles on the Mach. He needs to get that yearly average down.

Re: Carlisle All Ford Nationals - Mach 1 Registry Meet 2009
I have a question, what do you guys think I should do, register under Mach1 club or Yellow Mustang Club?? Plus, I will be driving down with 2 other Mustangs, Brother and good friend, Id hate to drive 6hrs and be parked on a different side of the show field, away from family, I am entering my car for show..What do you guys think.?

Anyone know of a less expensive hotel near the homewood.I have stayed at the Hampton across the street the last 2 years.I need to stay 4 nights. The rate has gone up to 159$and I see homewood wants 149$.I found Comfort Inn on rt.11 for 109$ .I want my car to be safe, save money and be close by for the morning cruise inns and the BBQ.

Re: Carlisle All Ford Nationals - Mach 1 Registry Meet 2009
Well I have lost count of how many times I've been to Carlisle... I guess for the last 5 years I made the long trip. But guys and gals I'm gonna have to stay home on this one probably. And staying home isn't so bad since I bought a new house. Sweet... but as you can imagine finances are much tighter, but luckily the Mach and '66 get to stay nice and cozy in the 2car garage.
I'll miss all the good times and cars for sure, but mostly I will miss the beers and chuckles on the patio. So have a beer (or six) of your choice and hope to see you next time or at some other event soon!
