How much hp can the stock tranny take? - 2003-04 Mach 1 Registry Owners Club

i have started my new project and am wondering how much hp the stock tranny will take? im going to be running the hellion T-76 turbo kit and plan on running high boost.i dont know if the tranny will hold up

I would say 400 to maybe 450 any more and your pushing its luck.

very true aswell, buddy of mine broke his with a 260RWHP bullitt. i guess its the abuse and luck

I don't doubt it, Mine sucked as soon as I got it, took it to the dealer and found out it was rebuilt 4 times, Told them nevermind dont bother working on it, scraped it and went T-56

Mine stood up to 540ft/lbs for a long time and is still living in a Mach1 in S. Carolina.

x2 on abuse. i've seen a 3650 outlast motors in 600hp applications.

im going to keep my stock 3650 after my rebuild this winter, and I plan to make 700+

and if it blows up? pfff...only money

just like any car if you beat on it and beat on it it will break very soon, you should be good up to 600hp i would think but to be safe i would say 550hp.

ive seen guys with that power, im guessing 500 because i see 475RWHP machs all the time with a stock tr-3650
