Tire pressures

I put Ford Racing “C” springs and Steeda billet aluminum C/C kit in the Mach last weekend. I took it to the local alignment shop today to get it all straight. They only do alignments and are the specialists for lowered cars or lifted trucks. After the technician told me he could not align the car, bad Steeda X2 ball joint, he said he inflated my tires to the tire manufacture max pressures. I have Sumitomo 245/45-17s in front and 315/35-17s in the rear. I have run for the past two years the Ford recommend 30 PSI all the way around.

What is the correct PSI to run for a DD?

Re: Tire pressures

for street tires the proper pressure will vary since the proper pressure is really what give you a nice even wear across the tread of the tire. for me it was 38 in the front and 44 in the rear with 265/38/18 and 315/30/18.
