Re: 10th Anniversary Cobra Wheels

The 10th anniv wheels are sharp. They have just the right mix of polished areas with dark spokes in my opinion to not be too subtle.

ME

I will never put on another Mustang's model parts on my Mach. Do I have aftermarket parts on it now = yes, but not anything from a GT, Cobra, Saleen, Roush, etc.

To me, putting Cobra wheels on a Mach is no different than the guy/gal that owns the v6 that puts Cobra snakes on it, or that puts type R emblems on it, or that owns a 1/2/3/4LT package Corvette that puts Z06 or ZR1 wheels on it. It's sacrilege IMO.

I guess that I just have an old school very conservative view point on it

Re: 10th Anniversary Cobra Wheels

Yeah do what you want to do. For sure post the pics of your car before and after for us though. I put '99 Cobra wheels on my '00 GT because I never cared for the GT's wheel all that much. My co-worker had put a complete Saleen package on his '99 Cobra including wheels. I also had a set of the Bullitt wheels for the GT too and still have those down in the basement here. Nowdays it's hard to find a 'stock' car especially in the world of Mustangs. If I had the money I'd drop in a Ford GT engine in the Mach 1 and call it good!

Re: 10th Anniversary Cobra Wheels

Hard to agree with that when Ford themselves do it. I believe the Bullitt-style wheels were standard on just about every mustang gt after 2001. And the 1994 stockers sure do look like the 93 cobra-R wheels

I see your point but I never liked the "mach wheel". Even before I bought my car I was looking at other wheels. I got rid of them as soon as I could. Ended up with the the cobra "R's" because I just like em. I guess it's all a matter of personal taste. I also pulled the hood stripe and changed the side stripes to where they don't "fade" just before the rear wheel.
