ORIGINAL WINDOW STICKER (or copy)

Hi folks!
How would I acquire a copy of the original window sticker for my car?

Even if there's someone out there who makes 'copies' of these?

I guess it would be difficult to get one from any where else but the original 'seller' of the vehicle. Would be nice to have for Auto Shows...

Any help is much appreciated!

Negative. I actually tracked down my original selling dealer all the way in Ohio. No luck, he said it couldn't be done. I waited a few months and called back and got a new guy that seemed more willing to help. After a week he called back and again gave me bad news.

Sucks.

Re: ORIGINAL WINDOW STICKER (or copy)

Myself and several others have found the original behind the glovebox. Apparently the original owner sticks it in there and over time it migrates out the back thru an opening. Stick your hand back there and see

Re: ORIGINAL WINDOW STICKER (or copy)

I got my sticker laminated right away, that way it wouldn't rip, tear, or fall apart over time. After almost 8 years, it still looks brand new. I suggest you guys do the same with your window stickers.

YUP! I was thankful to buy mine from Tony Alonso on here who laminated the window sticker, I also have the Ford glove box binder with maintenance book. I also have the build sheet laminated! Because he kept everything, that was basically a selling point for me to pick up the car.

I had mine laminated, but I wouldn't if I had to do over again. Laminating traps the "acid" in paper/ink/fingers into the document and degrades the paper over time. If you want to hold up for the lifetime, put it in an acid free clear plastic folder.
