$55 HIDs **NOT SPAM** Installed mine last night

On a local board here in Milwaukee a buddy who does audio installs posted this link to some really stupid cheap HID kits. $40 (no waranty) $55 (with waranty) and maybe like you right now we thought YEAH RIGHT!! Not happening probably some scam or something. We just bought 9007 headlights with hi/low beams and H10 fogs for our roush lights in the bumper and cost us just about $165 ish shipped cause you pay more for hi beams also. Shipping was slow as a snail (9 days)but the end product is well worth it guys/gals. I will post a picture later of what my buddies car looks like with them in (cut off line and all)

The difference is incredible when driving at night!!! Never going back to normal bulbs. The install took us about 10 minutes per bulb once I figured out how the bulb comes apart to put the factory mounting clip on. Worst part is hiding all the wires.

https://www.ddmtuning.com/index.php?...parent=54&pg=1

Go to that link and choose HID kits.

Here is a picture of the lens from shippment with protection still on the bulb

Harness (no picture of HI/LO controller harness)

Crappy cell phone picture. They are 5000K color will try to get better pics later once he comes back over again

I installed a similar setup on one of my vehicles, best night lights I have ever had! Nobody flashes their lights at me so they must not be too blinding! They are worth puting on every vehicle you own.

Re: $55 HIDs **NOT SPAM** Installed mine last night

Click HID kits

then on that page that opens go to bottom and click DDM 35 & 55W Slim ballast HID kit

When that opens look at the drop boxes on the right hand side. There you choose your bulb size (9007) and color and also if you want high/low beams too (add $25). Get 35W power.....55W are too strong for our housings and will turn them yellowish over time.

maybe this direct link will work??? Not sure but will try

893 bulb is what we have stock in the machs. Their 880 bulb says can be referenced back to other 800 series bulbs so if I were you thats what I would order

A bunch of us bikers in Daytona have been using the DDM kits for a while now with no issues... Fantastic price point, and I have no complaints and been running mine for a year now ...

Re: $55 HIDs **NOT SPAM** Installed mine last night

Because everyone thinks you need to spend $200/light to get quality. I have posted DDM kits on a few HID threads on other boards and always get bashed...

Lets see, they are Lifetime warrantied... Where is the fatal flaw??... there are about 10 of us running these kits, and we have not had a bulb failure yet....

For reference, I am running the 55w slim ballasted on the bike, and it has more miles per year than my car... Plus with the bike, I run them no delay, so the light has to fire twice every time I start the bike...

Re: $55 HIDs **NOT SPAM** Installed mine last night

you see so many posts about the cheaper ones having ballasts crap out on you, Im sure that has a lot to do with people being afraid of the cheaper kits

Ive been wanting a new set, might have to give this a try

YUP!! for $300 I better not have to change crap. Well, $200 actually but with $55 kit if I had to swap a wiring harness over by pushing a clip out .....no big deal 5 seconds and done.

Drove last night and truly can drive safely at night with "JUST" the fogs on. THe headlights were not even needed and I havent gotten flashed once in the 3 nights I have had them out

So true... I don;t use highbeams on anything anymore with HIDs' there is jsut no need... and once properly aimed, you never get flashed...

Re: $55 HIDs **NOT SPAM** Installed mine last night

anyone think the 55 watt ones will be a problem in our car (headlights)? Im lookin at 105 before shipping for the 55watt and hi/lo beams. I go do some serious backwoods driving in NC and would like all the light I can get. The lack of high beams is why I got rid of my vision bulbs kit, loved em otherwise

Aside from the yellowing somebody mentioned earlier no. They're just going to be very very hot.

Re: $55 HIDs **NOT SPAM** Installed mine last night

Installed the Hi/lo beam and fogs and really like the lights. Much better than the stockers. I already have a hard time seeing at night so these were a big plus----- It's like comparing the brightness of mud to the Sun. THANKS AGAIN FOR THE LINK. For the price, I can't help but think that something is going to crap out, but so far, so good I'm happy to say. Quality seems great and I'm happy with them. If anyone has considered HID's, I bet you would hard pressed to beat the price and quality.......... Ordered the lights and had them in 3-4 days with ground shipping. I think the total was $167.00 with shipping....
